Built around the workflows real newsrooms use

Our modules follow the path of a feed from lens to viewer: capture on camera, ingest and routing in the gallery, then contribution and distribution over fibre, IP and cellular links. You practise each step on the same kinds of systems used across UK news and television operations, so the first day on a real job feels familiar.

Frequently asked questions

Wondering how it all works? These are the questions we hear most often before people join a programme.

Do I need previous experience in broadcasting?

No. The foundation modules start from the basics. If you already work in video, our signal and distribution modules take you further.

What equipment will I use during the course?

Studio and field cameras, a vision mixer, routing and monitoring tools, and IP and cellular contribution kit set up as a working training rig.

How big are the training groups?

Cohorts are limited to six trainees per instructor, so everyone gets regular time on the equipment.

Can my team be trained together?

Yes. We run tailored team programmes at our studio or on your premises anywhere in the UK. Contact us for a quote.

Do you offer discounts for early booking?

Our current intake prices already include a saving on the standard fee. Ask about early-bird places when you enquire.

How do I reserve a place?

Send us an enquiry. We will confirm availability, answer your questions and agree the next steps with you directly.

Not on this site. Send an enquiry and we will confirm your place and agree payment details with you personally.

Where do the courses take place?

Training runs at our UK studio. Team programmes can also be delivered on your own premises.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Every completed module and programme ends with a certificate listing the skills you practised.
